The domaine farms around 17 hectares, mainly across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin, with additional holdings in Bouzeron and Pernand-Vergelesses.  

Its portfolio spans Burgundy’s hierarchy, from village wines to iconic Grand Crus such as Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet and Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet.  

A clear “terroir-first” philosophy

Ramonet’s approach focuses on respecting each climat through sustainable/raisonnée practices, soil work and controlled yields. Harvesting is done by hand.  

In the cellar, vinification is traditional, followed by ageing in oak barrels, typically 12 to 18 months depending on the appellation.  

Wine style

The whites are prized for a rare balance of brightness, drive and volume, finishing long and structured often with genuine ageing potential.  

The reds, less central to the estate’s image, show density, power and concentration, in a serious, built-to-last profile.
