Hermitage White: One of France’s Greatest Dry Whites

Hermitage AOC, perched on the famous hill above Tain-l’Hermitage, is a benchmark of the Northern Rhône. Its whites, mainly Marsanne-based with occasional Roussanne, are among the world’s finest and most age-worthy dry white wines.

A historic, exceptional terroir

The south-facing granite hill, with terraces and diverse soils (granite, loess, stones), provides power, depth and minerality. The exposure captures optimal sun, ripening grapes slowly and fully.

Opulent, structured and built to age

Hermitage whites show aromas of yellow fruits, almond, honey, dried flowers, and truffle with age. On the palate, they are full-bodied, long and textured, often improving for decades in bottle.
