Crozes-Hermitage White: Floral Freshness from Northern Rhône

Crozes-Hermitage, the largest AOC in the Northern Rhône, also produces beautiful white wines, mostly from Marsanne, occasionally blended with Roussanne. These whites impress with their aromatic purity and finesse.

A terroir of many expressions

Located on the Rhône’s left bank, the vineyards sit on varied soils: pebbles, loess, clay, and granite. This diversity shapes wines with either crisp, mineral tension or rounder, fuller body depending on location.

Expect aromas of white flowers, pear, fresh almond and light honey. The palate is smooth, harmonious and mineral-driven — perfect for lovers of elegant white wines.

Accessible and versatile

Less imposing than Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage whites are a great introduction to Northern Rhône whites. They pair easily at the table and offer great value.
