Founded in 1949 and based in Épernay, Maison A. Bergère has established itself as a benchmark among grower champagnes. Still family-run, the house has remained faithful to its guiding principle: to express the richness and diversity of Champagne terroirs with authenticity and precision.
The vineyard extends over about 65 hectares across the Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne and Vallée du Petit Morin. Predominantly planted with Chardonnay, complemented by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, this mosaic of terroirs allows the house to craft elegant, balanced cuvées defined by purity and freshness.
Viticulture is carried out with respect for the environment, with careful attention to soil vitality and the natural character of each grape variety. In the cellar, winemaking combines tradition and modernity, with judicious use of reserve wines and tailored ageing to preserve fruit integrity and terroir expression.
A. Bergère champagnes are admired for their harmonious balance, aromatic intensity and drinkability. Chardonnay brings tension and minerality, while Pinot Noir and Meunier add structure and roundness to the blends.
Celebrated in France and abroad, Maison A. Bergère appeals to wine lovers seeking authentic, elegant champagnes that remain true to their origins.
