Located on the prestigious limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion, Château Berliquet is one of the appellation’s oldest estates, with a history dating back to the 18th century. Classified as a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, it embodies the finesse and complexity of Bordeaux’s right bank wines.

The vineyard extends over about 10 hectares, ideally planted on a terroir of limestone, clay and molasse, which brings both power and elegance to the wines. The plantings are dominated by Merlot, Saint-Émilion’s flagship grape, complemented by Cabernet Franc and a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Now under the ownership of Chanel, also proprietor of neighboring Château Canon, Berliquet has experienced a true renaissance. Vineyard practices are focused on sustainability and parcel-by-parcel precision, ensuring the expression of each terroir.

In the cellar, winemaking is meticulous and tailored to each parcel, with oak ageing carefully managed to strike the perfect balance between intensity, freshness and elegance.

Château Berliquet wines are admired for their refined bouquet of dark fruit, floral and spicy notes, their silky texture and their remarkable ageing potential.

Elegant and sophisticated, Château Berliquet today stands as a distinguished name among the Grands Crus Classés of Saint-Émilion.
