Located in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, in the heart of the Saint-Émilion appellation, Château Fombrauge is one of the largest and most renowned estates on Bordeaux’s right bank. Classified as a Grand Cru Classé, it embodies the elegance and richness of Saint-Émilion wines.

The vineyard spans about 58 hectares, planted on a mosaic of clay, limestone and molasse soils, which give the wines remarkable complexity and depth. Plantings are dominated by Merlot, the emblematic grape of the appellation, complemented by Cabernet Franc, which adds structure and freshness.

Viticulture is carried out with respect for natural balance and a focus on parcel-by-parcel expression. Manual harvesting with strict selection is followed by vinifications adapted to each terroir, enhancing fruit purity and individuality. Oak barrel ageing, carefully managed, completes this quest for excellence.

Château Fombrauge wines are admired for their intense bouquet of dark fruits, spices and floral notes, their generous, velvety mouthfeel, and their remarkable ageing potential. They reflect both the power and finesse of the finest Saint-Émilion wines.

As a true ambassador of the appellation, Château Fombrauge combines history, innovation and refinement to craft wines highly sought after by connoisseurs worldwide.
