Nestled between Condrieu and Saint-Joseph, Château-Grillet is a classified appellation in its own right, one of the smallest crus in France with only 3.5 hectares. Owned by Artémis Domaines (Pinault family) since 2011, it enjoys an exceptional terroir that gives its wines a rare and prestigious identity.

The vineyard, exclusively planted with Viognier, lies on steep south-facing terraced slopes of granite and sandy clay soils. These unique conditions produce wines of great aromatic intensity, with unmatched freshness and elegance.

Viticulture is carried out with rigorous, sustainable practices, with all vineyard work done by hand due to the dramatic topography. Yields are deliberately kept low to ensure outstanding concentration of the grapes. In the cellar, vinification and ageing are carefully managed, focusing on precision and aromatic purity.

Château-Grillet wines are admired for their refined bouquet of white flowers, apricot, citrus and honey, supported by vibrant minerality. On the palate, they reveal a silky, generous texture, remarkable tension and an ageing potential that can extend over decades.

A true jewel of the Northern Rhône Valley, Château-Grillet embodies exclusivity, finesse and the timeless character of the world’s greatest white wines.
