Located on the renowned Saint-Émilion plateau, Château La Marzelle is a historic estate whose origins date back to the 18th century. Classified as a Grand Cru Classé since 1955, it epitomizes the finesse and authenticity of Bordeaux’s right bank.
The vineyard covers about 17 hectares, ideally set on gravel, clay and sandy soils that provide balance, freshness and depth to the wines. Plantings are dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, which add structure and complexity.
Since the 1990s, the estate has undergone a true renaissance with major investments in both vineyard and cellar. Viticulture follows organic and biodynamic principles, respecting biodiversity and enhancing terroir expression. Manual harvesting and parcel-by-parcel vinification ensure remarkable precision.
Château La Marzelle wines are admired for their aromatic intensity of dark fruits, spices and floral notes, their velvety texture, and their subtle balance of power and elegance. With excellent ageing potential, they are highly sought after by Saint-Émilion enthusiasts.
A true ambassador of Bordeaux refinement, Château La Marzelle perfectly combines tradition and innovation.
