Located in the northeast of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, Château Rayas is one of Classified as a Fourth Growth in 1855, Château Saint-Pierre is one of the hidden gems of the Saint-Julien appellation on Bordeaux’s left bank. With origins dating back to the 17th century, the estate has been brilliantly revived in recent decades under the stewardship of the Triaud family.

The vineyard covers about 17 hectares, making it one of the smallest classed growths of the Médoc, a guarantee of rarity and exceptional quality. Planted on Garonne gravel soils over a clay-sandy subsoil, the vines enjoy ideal conditions for producing wines of great precision. Plantings are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Viticulture follows a sustainable, parcel-based approach, with respect for terroir and optimal grape ripeness. Manual harvesting and tailored vinification ensure faithful expression of each parcel. Ageing in French oak barrels, carefully balanced, brings depth and refinement.

Château Saint-Pierre wines are admired for their bouquet of dark fruits, tobacco and spice, their silky tannic structure and their remarkable balance. They offer excellent ageing potential while remaining approachable in their youth.

A true ambassador of Saint-Julien, Château Saint-Pierre embodies the elegance, precision and rarity of the Médoc’s grands crus classés.
