Located in Canejan, at the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, Château Seguin is a historic estate with origins dating back to the 18th century. For several decades, the Darriet family has overseen the property with passion, combining respect for tradition with a constant pursuit of quality.
The vineyard spans about 35 hectares, planted on deep gravel mixed with clay and sand, soils typical of the Graves. Red wines are based on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, while whites are crafted from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, offering a diverse and expressive range.
Viticulture follows a sustainable, parcel-based approach, with close attention to biodiversity and terroir expression. Manual harvesting, precise vinification and ageing in French oak barrels ensure wines of balance, elegance and strong ageing potential.
Château Seguin reds are admired for their bouquet of dark fruits, spices and the smoky notes typical of Pessac-Léognan. Full-bodied and structured, they reveal a velvety texture and remarkable length. The whites stand out for their freshness, mineral tension and aromas of citrus and white flowers.
As a discreet yet essential ambassador of Pessac-Léognan, Château Seguin embodies the subtle balance between Bordeaux tradition and modernity.
