Located on the legendary La Crau plateau in the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe is one of the Rhône Valley’s greatest names. Owned by the Brunier family since 1891, it represents five generations of passion and savoir-faire dedicated to expressing this exceptional terroir.
The vineyard covers nearly 70 hectares, mainly planted with Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. The iconic rounded pebbles of La Crau absorb the sun’s warmth and radiate unique energy, shaping the power and depth of the domaine’s wines.
The philosophy is based on respectful, near-organic viticulture and precise traditional winemaking. Natural fermentations and long ageing in oak foudres give birth to wines of remarkable structure, elegance and outstanding ageing potential.
Vieux Télégraphe wines are renowned for their aromatic intensity, their balance between power and finesse, and their ability to age gracefully. They reveal notes of ripe fruits, spices and garrigue, carried by silky textures and long, persistent finishes.
As a true icon of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe is celebrated worldwide as one of the finest expressions of the Rhône’s great terroirs.
