Based in Ampuis, at the heart of the prestigious Côte-Rôtie appellation, Domaine Jean-Michel Gerin is a benchmark in the Northern Rhône. From a family of vignerons spanning six generations, Jean-Michel Gerin founded the estate in 1983 and has since expanded it with passion and precision, now joined by his sons Michaël and Alexis.

The vineyard covers about 12 hectares, mainly on the steep slopes of Côte-Rôtie, including renowned parcels such as “La Viallière” and “Les Grandes Places.” Syrah dominates, occasionally complemented by a touch of Viognier, yielding wines of exceptional aromatic intensity and elegance.

The domaine’s philosophy emphasizes sustainable viticulture, preserving soil vitality and biodiversity. Hand-harvesting, essential on these steep terraces, ensures rigorous grape selection. In the cellar, winemaking blends precision and authenticity, with ageing tailored to enhance structure, depth and freshness while maintaining terroir identity.
