Based in Lignorelles, at the heart of the Chablis vineyard, Domaine Roland Lavantureux is a family estate that has carried on the winemaking traditions of this prestigious appellation for generations. Founded by Roland Lavantureux in the 1970s, the domaine is now run by his sons, Arnaud and David, who combine inherited savoir-faire with a modern vision.

The vineyard spans about 20 hectares across the Chablis appellation, from Petit Chablis to Chablis Premiers Crus and Grands Crus. Chardonnay, the sole grape variety, thrives here with purity and intensity, enhanced by the region’s distinctive Kimmeridgian limestone soils.

Viticulture is environmentally respectful, with close attention to soil health and vine vitality. Manual harvesting and precise winemaking result in wines of great accuracy, marked by freshness and minerality. Ageing in both stainless steel and oak barrels adds structure and complexity while preserving Chardonnay’s natural energy.

Roland Lavantureux wines are admired for their brightness, tension and impressive ageing potential. Iconic cuvées such as Chablis “Vau de Vey” or “Fourchaume” reveal the depth and richness of Chablis’s finest terroirs.

Celebrated worldwide, the wines of the Lavantureux family embody the purity and timeless elegance of Chablis.
