Located in Ambonnay, one of the most prestigious Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims, Maison R.H. Coutier embodies the excellence and authenticity of grower Champagne. For five generations, the Coutier family has cultivated its vineyards with passion and precision, crafting champagnes that faithfully reflect the nobility of this exceptional terroir.

The family estate covers about 9 hectares, planted mainly with Pinot Noir, Ambonnay’s dominant grape, complemented by Chardonnay. This rare balance in the village allows the domaine to produce distinctive cuvées that combine power with finesse. Chalky soils and ideal exposures give the wines both aromatic intensity and mineral depth.

Viticulture is environmentally respectful, with meticulous care given to both vines and soils. Manual harvesting ensures rigorous grape selection. In the cellar, winemaking follows traditional methods, complemented by precise ageing, sometimes in oak barrels, to preserve terroir character and fruit purity.
