Founded in 1772 in Reims by Philippe Clicquot, Maison Veuve Clicquot owes its worldwide reputation to the vision and boldness of Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, who became a widow at 27. A true pioneer, she revolutionized Champagne by developing techniques still used today, such as riddling, and by defining the house’s unmistakable style.

With nearly 390 hectares of vineyards, most of which are classified as Grands and Premiers Crus, Veuve Clicquot boasts one of Champagne’s largest and most prestigious estates. Pinot Noir takes center stage, providing power and structure, complemented by Chardonnay for finesse and Pinot Meunier for roundness.

The Veuve Clicquot style is defined by richness, complexity and aromatic intensity, always balanced with remarkable elegance. The iconic Yellow Label Brut, instantly recognizable by its famous yellow label, has become one of the world’s most emblematic champagnes. The house also produces prestigious cuvées such as La Grande Dame, a tribute to its legendary founder, combining power and refinement.

Internationally celebrated, Veuve Clicquot embodies boldness, excellence and the French art of living, with champagnes that elevate both festive moments and fine dining experiences.
