Description:
The 2016 Meursault 1er Cru "Poruzot" from Domaine Jean Marie Bouzereau is a highly elegant white wine typical of the Côte de Beaune. This Premier Cru terroir imparts a rich texture and distinctive saline minerality to the wine. The Chardonnay fully expresses its aromatic complexity with notes of white-fleshed fruits, ripe citrus, and delicate floral nuances. Oak aging, partly in new barrels, adds a nice roundness and toasted hints without overpowering the fruit. On the palate, this Meursault offers a generous body, well-controlled freshness, and a long, persistent finish that highlights its aging potential.
