Located in Chignin, at the heart of Savoie’s vineyards, Domaine André et Michel Quénard has established itself as one of the region’s finest names. Continuing a long family tradition, Michel Quénard pursues a demanding approach that highlights the richness and authenticity of Savoie terroirs.

The estate spans about 22 hectares of steep, south-facing slopes, planted on limestone scree soils from the Bauges mountains. This unique terroir provides ideal conditions for showcasing local grape varieties, with a strong emphasis on Jacquère, Chignin’s emblematic grape, alongside Roussanne (locally called Bergeron), Altesse and Mondeuse.

Viticulture is carried out with great respect for natural balance, favoring biodiversity, soil vitality and manual harvesting. In the cellar, winemaking is precise and minimally interventionist, aiming to reveal both fruit purity and terroir minerality.

The estate’s white wines are admired for their freshness, tension and aromatic elegance, while the reds display intensity and refined structure. Flagship cuvées such as Chignin-Bergeron and single-vineyard selections stand out for their personality and ageing potential.

Recognized well beyond Savoie, the wines of Domaine André et Michel Quénard embody the perfect balance of tradition, terroir and modernity.
