Arbois-Pupillin Red: Delicate and Distinctive Jura Identity

Pupillin is a symbolic village in the Jura wine region, renowned as the birthplace of the Poulsard grape. Part of the Arbois AOC, Arbois-Pupillin wines enjoy special status thanks to their finesse and unique personality.

High-altitude, marl-rich terroir

At nearly 400 meters in elevation, the vineyards grow on red, grey or iridescent marl soils. The cool climate brings natural acidity and delicate tannins to the wines, enhancing their freshness and aromatics.

The kingdom of Poulsard

Mainly made from Poulsard, Arbois-Pupillin reds show a very light ruby color with delicate aromas of wild strawberry, white pepper, dried rose and forest floor. The palate is airy, soft and subtly rustic.

A wine of emotion and refined food pairings

Best enjoyed slightly chilled, these wines pair beautifully with plant-based cuisine, grilled poultry, mushroom dishes, or regional cheeses such as young Comté or Morbier.
