Recognized as a cru since 2016, Cairanne is among the rising stars of the southern Rhône. Its red wines blend Mediterranean warmth with fine tannins and natural balance.
A terroir of hills and herbs
The vineyards grow on varied soils — pebbles, red clay and limestone terraces — contributing depth, freshness and complexity to blends led by Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
Fruity, smooth and spicy style
Cairanne reds offer ripe black fruit, sweet spice, licorice, herbs and occasional cocoa notes. The palate is smooth and rounded, with soft tannins and a velvety finish.
