Located in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, Château Haut-Bergey has become one of the leading names in the Graves thanks to its modern, terroir-driven approach. Owned by Sylviane Garcin-Cathiard since 1991, the estate has seen continuous investment and unwavering commitment to quality.
The vineyard spans about 40 hectares, planted on gravelly and sandy-clay soils typical of the appellation. Reds are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec, while whites are crafted from Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris and Sémillon.
Viticulture is conducted under organic and biodynamic principles, reflecting a strong commitment to environmental respect and terroir expression. Manual harvesting, parcel-by-parcel vinification and ageing in both oak barrels and amphorae result in precise, balanced wines.
Château Haut-Bergey reds are admired for their aromatic intensity, velvety tannins and depth, while the whites captivate with freshness, minerality and aromatic complexity.
A symbol of a new generation in Pessac-Léognan, Château Haut-Bergey brilliantly embodies the harmony of Bordeaux tradition, innovation and respect for nature.
