Located in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation, Château Latour-Martillac is a historic family-owned estate, classified as a Graves Grand Cru Classé in 1953 for both its red and white wines. Its name pays tribute to the fortified tower that overlooks the property, a vestige of a medieval fortress.

The vineyard extends over about 50 hectares, with 40 hectares dedicated to reds and 10 to whites. The soils, composed of deep gravel over a clay-limestone base, provide finesse, structure and complexity. Red plantings are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, complemented by Petit Verdot, while whites are crafted from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, offering a balance of freshness and aromatic richness.

Viticulture follows a sustainable, parcel-by-parcel approach. Manual harvesting, precise vinifications and carefully judged oak ageing highlight fruit purity and terroir expression.

Château Latour-Martillac reds are admired for their aromas of dark fruit, spice and tobacco, their elegant structure and excellent ageing potential. The whites, vibrant and mineral, display citrus, floral notes and remarkable freshness, ranking among the finest in Pessac-Léognan.

Combining tradition with modern expertise, Château Latour-Martillac embodies the excellence of the Graves and the passion of a dedicated family estate.
