Corbières Red: Power and Authenticity from Southern France

Stretching from Narbonne to the foothills of the Pyrenees, Corbières is the Languedoc’s largest AOC and among its most expressive. Its rugged, sun-drenched terrain gives rise to bold, structured reds with intense character.

Wild terroir and herbal intensity

From schist to limestone and sandstone, Corbières' diverse soils and dry Mediterranean winds (like the Cers) contribute to deeply flavored grapes and concentrated wines.

Classic southern blends

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan dominate the blends, yielding reds with aromas of black fruits, pepper, black olive, thyme and garrigue — with structure and aging potential.

A region of contrasts

With 11 officially recognized terroirs and one classified cru (Boutenac), Corbières can produce rustic, powerful or refined reds depending on the location and elevation.

Food pairings

Pair with grilled meats, wild boar stew, cassoulet, or herbed slow-cooked dishes — perfect for bold Mediterranean cuisine.
