Domaine de la Noblaie – Authentic and Elegant Wines from the Loire Valley

Located in Ligré, south of Chinon, Domaine de la Noblaie is one of the oldest wine estates in the region, with origins dating back to the 15th century. Today, under the guidance of Jérôme Billard, a passionate and skilled winemaker, the domaine combines Loire tradition with a contemporary, environmentally respectful vision.

The vineyard covers about 24 hectares, planted mainly with Cabernet Franc, the emblematic grape of Chinon, along with a few parcels of Chenin Blanc for white wines. Clay-limestone and flint soils give the wines elegant structure, freshness and refined aromatic expression.

Certified organic, the domaine embraces practices that preserve biodiversity and soil vitality. In the cellar, winemaking is precise and minimally interventionist, aiming to showcase fruit purity and terroir typicity. Careful ageing allows the creation of cuvées that are approachable yet capable of long ageing.
