Perched on the steep slopes of Cevins and Saint-Pierre-de-Soucy in the heart of Savoie, Domaine des Ardoisières is one of the most emblematic names of Alpine viticulture. Founded in 1998 by Michel Grisard and taken over in 2003 by Brice Omont, it has become a symbol of renewal and dynamism for Savoie wines.

Today, the vineyard covers about 15 hectares of dramatic hillside vineyards planted with native and traditional varieties such as Altesse, Jacquère, Mondeuse Noire and Blanche, and Persan. The schist and slate-rich soils endow the wines with striking minerality and a distinctive character.

The estate is farmed biodynamically with a strong commitment to biodiversity and soil balance. In the cellar, winemaking is precise and minimally interventionist, allowing fruit purity and the Alpine terroir’s uniqueness to shine through in every cuvée.

Domaine des Ardoisières wines stand out for their freshness, tension and aromatic depth. The whites display floral and mineral notes with great elegance, while the reds captivate with finesse, intensity and ageing potential.
