Founded in 1999 by Dominique Lafon, Domaine des Héritiers du Comte Lafon is based in Milly-Lamartine, at the heart of the Mâconnais. From one of Burgundy’s most iconic families in Meursault, Dominique Lafon brought to southern Burgundy the same uncompromising standards that earned his wines worldwide acclaim.

The domaine covers nearly 26 hectares across Milly-Lamartine, Uchizy, Viré-Clessé, Chardonnay and Saint-Véran. Predominantly planted to Chardonnay, the vineyards benefit from clay-limestone soils that give the wines elegance, expression and a deep sense of place.

From the outset, the domaine has been farmed organically and biodynamically, preserving soil vitality and natural balance. In the cellar, winemaking is precise and minimally interventionist, aiming to showcase fruit purity and minerality. Ageing, often in oak but used with restraint, maintains freshness and harmony.
