Founded in 1989 by Jean-Claude Vidal, an architect with a deep passion for wine, this domaine has become a benchmark thanks to its traditional approach and respect for terroir. Today, his daughter Audrey Vidal continues his legacy, bringing a touch of modernity while maintaining the estate’s unique identity.

Domaine du Banneret spans 5 hectares across seven parcels on diverse terroirs. The vines average 70 years old, ensuring low yields but exceptional aromatic concentration. The estate cultivates all thirteen grape varieties permitted in the appellation, creating uniquely complex wines:

  • Grenache Noir: Provides structure and generosity.

  • Mourvèdre and Syrah: Enhance color and aromas.

  • Muscardin, Vaccarèse, Terret Noir, Cinsault, Picpoul Noir, Counoise: Contribute finesse and aromatic diversity.

  • Grenache Blanc, Clairette (white and pink), Bourboulenc, Roussanne, Picardan: Bring freshness and floral bouquet to the white wines.
