Domaine François Carillon – Exceptional White Wines from Puligny-Montrachet

Based in Puligny-Montrachet, at the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine François Carillon carries a winemaking heritage dating back to the 16th century. In 2010, François Carillon established his own estate after the division of the historic Domaine Louis Carillon, defining his own style and vision for Burgundy’s great white wines.

The vineyard covers about 15 hectares, mainly in Puligny-Montrachet, but also in Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Pernand-Vergelesses. Chardonnay reigns supreme here, expressing remarkable purity and elegance thanks to clay-limestone soils and the Côte de Beaune’s unique microclimate.

The domaine’s philosophy is based on environmentally respectful viticulture and careful vineyard management. In the cellar, winemaking is precise and minimally interventionist, preserving minerality, tension and aromatic complexity. Ageing in oak barrels, with judicious use of new wood, enhances structure and harmony while maintaining terroir identity.
