Located in Montigny-lès-Arsures, at the heart of the Jura vineyards, Domaine Fumey-Chatelain represents the new dynamic generation bringing this unique region into the spotlight. Founded in the late 1980s by Raphaël Fumey and Adeline Chatelain, the estate is now run by their children, who carry on the family tradition while adding a modern and innovative touch.

The vineyard spans about 30 hectares across a patchwork of marl, limestone and clay soils. This diversity allows the domaine to showcase the richness of Jura grape varieties: Savagnin, Chardonnay, Poulsard, Trousseau and Pinot Noir. Each wine is crafted to reflect its terroir with authenticity and precision.

The domaine’s philosophy is rooted in sustainable viticulture, with a progressive move towards organic farming, and minimally interventionist winemaking. Ageing methods are carefully chosen for each cuvée, from topped-up whites to oxidative styles, as well as single-vineyard bottlings that highlight the uniqueness of each parcel.

Fumey-Chatelain wines are admired for their purity, energy and authenticity. Whites impress with their tension and minerality, reds with finesse and charm, while emblematic Savagnin and Vin Jaune cuvées embody the singular character of the Jura.

Praised by critics and appreciated by discerning wine lovers, Domaine Fumey-Chatelain plays a key role in the revival and international recognition of Jura wines.
