Located at the foot of Mont Brouilly, Domaine Les Roches Bleues takes its name from the blue diorite soils, a rare volcanic rock that imparts a unique character to the wines. This family-run estate cultivates its vineyards with passion, combining Beaujolais tradition with modern, environmentally respectful practices.

The vineyard covers about 20 hectares, mainly planted with Gamay, the emblematic grape of Beaujolais, along with some Chardonnay for elegant white cuvées. The granite and volcanic slopes, combined with a favorable microclimate, give the wines refined structure, vibrant aromatics and a distinctive mineral freshness.

In the cellar, winemaking is precise and often inspired by the traditional semi-carbonic maceration, highlighting fruit purity and terroir authenticity. Ageing, carried out in tanks or barrels, is carefully managed to preserve natural balance and charm.

The domaine’s reds are admired for their fresh red fruit aromas, supple texture and elegance. Crus such as Brouilly and Côte de Brouilly stand out for their depth and ageing potential. The whites, produced in smaller quantities, display brightness, vivacity and minerality.
