Founded in 1988 by Henri-Frédéric Roch, co-director of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and an iconic figure of Burgundy, Domaine Prieuré Roch has quickly become a benchmark for rare and authentic wines. Based in Premeaux-Prissey, just south of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the estate embodies a radical philosophy of respect for vineyard and terroir.
The vineyard spans about 20 hectares across prestigious appellations such as Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Clos de Vougeot, Chambertin-Clos de Bèze and Romanée Saint-Vivant. Some of the oldest parcels include century-old vines that bring extraordinary depth and intensity to the wines.
Since its foundation, the domaine has practiced biodynamic viticulture. Vineyard work is minimalist yet meticulous, preserving soil vitality and natural cycles. In the cellar, winemaking is natural and non-interventionist, with whole-cluster fermentations and ageing carried out without new oak, ensuring fruit purity and terroir transparency.
Prieuré Roch wines stand out for their aromatic intensity, vibrant energy and unique character. They combine depth, precision and ageing capacity, offering a singular and captivating interpretation of Burgundy’s greatest terroirs.
Highly sought-after worldwide, these rare wines embody the bold and timeless vision of Henri-Frédéric Roch.
