Located in Volnay, at the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Yvon Clerget embodies the elegance and finesse of Burgundy’s finest Pinot Noirs. With family roots in the region dating back to the 13th century, the domaine experienced a true revival in 2015 when Thibaud Clerget took over, bringing new energy and precision while honoring his family’s heritage.

The vineyard spans about 6 hectares, including prestigious appellations such as Volnay, Pommard, Meursault and the legendary Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru. Volnay climats, including the monopole “Clos du Verseuil,” produce wines of remarkable delicacy and depth.

Viticulture is carried out sustainably, with careful attention to soil balance and biodiversity. Harvesting is done by hand, and winemaking follows a minimally interventionist philosophy to highlight fruit purity and terroir identity. Ageing is handled with restraint, preserving the freshness and elegance that define the domaine’s style.

The reds are admired for their aromatic intensity, silky texture and ageing potential, with layers of red and black fruit lifted by subtle floral and mineral notes.
