Located between Toulouse and Montauban, the Fronton AOC is the stronghold of Négrette — a rare, delicate-skinned grape found almost nowhere else. It produces soft, floral and spicy red wines.
A unique terroir between the Tarn and Garonne rivers
Gravel and boulbène soils, combined with a mild oceanic climate, ensure ripeness and preserve aromatic freshness. Négrette, often blended with Syrah or Cabernet, thrives in these conditions.
Smooth, floral and subtly spicy
Fronton reds offer notes of violet, black cherry, white pepper and licorice. The palate is fruity, round and silky, with soft tannins and fresh finish.
