Sourced from high-altitude vineyards on the steep northern slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the 2020 Gigondas Tradition from Domaine La Bouïssière stands out for its freshness, finesse, and remarkable balance. The warm 2020 vintage yields a generous yet vibrant wine with elegant structure and great aromatic intensity.
Blend
Approx. 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre – hand-harvested, traditional fermentation, aged 18 months in large oak vats and concrete tanks.
Tasting notes
• Appearance: Deep garnet with purple highlights.
• Nose: Ripe black fruits, garrigue herbs, sweet spices, licorice, hint of graphite.
• Palate: Generous and fresh, with ripe, supple tannins, mineral tension, and a long, spicy finish.
Aging potential
Drink now after decanting, or cellar through 2032.
