Romanée-Saint-Vivant: The Pure Grace of Pinot Noir

Romanée-Saint-Vivant is one of Vosne-Romanée’s six Grand Cru vineyards, located just east of Romanée-Conti. Named after the Saint-Vivant priory, which once cultivated these vines, this Grand Cru delivers some of the most elegant and refined Pinot Noir in Burgundy.

A delicate and noble terroir

With east-facing slopes and well-drained clay-limestone soils, this terroir favors slow, even ripening. It brings freshness, floral expression, and silky structure to the wine — a hallmark of Romanée-Saint-Vivant.

Refined and expressive style

The wines reveal aromas of fresh red berries, violet, rose, soft spices and forest floor. The palate is smooth, layered, and gracefully mineral. More aerial than La Tâche, more delicate than Richebourg.

Slow-evolving and age-worthy

Romanée-Saint-Vivant evolves slowly and beautifully, gaining complexity with time. It offers both youthful charm and remarkable longevity — a wine of evolving emotion.

Food pairings

Pair with veal and morel mushrooms, spiced pigeon, truffle ravioli or elegant plant-based dishes. A wine for delicate, refined cuisine.
