At the southern edge of the Northern Rhône, in the hills of Ardèche, Saint-Péray produces only white wines — both still and sparkling — from Marsanne and Roussanne. These wines offer freshness, finesse and true character.
Famous in the 19th century for its sparkling wines, Saint-Péray was once seen as a challenger to Champagne. Today, still wines have gained prominence, showcasing Marsanne’s mineral and expressive nature.
Saint-Péray whites display aromas of white flowers, pear, almond, and sometimes honey or linden. On the palate: freshness, roundness and subtle minerality. Sparkling versions are elegant, low-dosage and highly drinkable.
Still under the radar, Saint-Péray whites are a hidden gem of the Rhône — terroir-driven, charming and food-friendly.
Perfect as an aperitif, or with shellfish, trout, pike quenelles, soft cheeses or refined vegetable dishes.
