Though better known for its reds, the Santenay appellation also produces excellent white wines from Chardonnay. Located at the southern tip of Côte de Beaune, it offers expressive, approachable whites with beautiful balance.
A sunny terroir of clay and limestone
Santenay’s soils mix marl, limestone and clay, with varied exposures and well-drained slopes. This terroir produces whites that are both round and vibrant, with delicate minerality.
