Vacqueyras
Rare and expressive, Vacqueyras whites combine structure, freshness and sun-kissed southern Rhône charm.
Vacqueyras White: Finesse and Generosity from Southern Rhône
While Vacqueyras is mostly known for its bold reds, its white wines — a small share of production — are elegant, characterful and well worth discovering. Made from Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Bourboulenc and sometimes Viognier.
A terroir of light and complexity
At the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the vineyards grow on pebbles, clay and sandy soils. The Mediterranean climate, moderated by the mistral, creates balanced, expressive whites.
Bright, elegant white wines
Aromas of white flowers, peach, pear, ripe citrus and almond are typical. The palate is round, supple and fresh, sometimes with a saline edge. Balance is key.
Rare and authentic Rhône whites
Produced in small quantities, Vacqueyras whites offer excellent value and strong gastronomic potential. A great alternative for Rhône white enthusiasts.
