The Ventoux AOC, located east of Avignon, produces little-known but increasingly sought-after white wines. Influenced by the altitude and cool air from Mont Ventoux, these wines offer balance and drinkability.
High-altitude, diverse terroirs
Vineyards range from 200 to 500 meters above sea level on varied soils of limestone, sandstone and clay. This diversity, along with cool mistral winds, yields lively and refreshing wines.
Aromatic, floral and subtle whites
Made from Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, Vermentino and Bourboulenc, Ventoux whites display notes of white flowers, citrus, pear or white peach. The palate is soft, crisp, sometimes with a saline edge.
