Located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, Château de Pez is one of the Médoc’s oldest wine estates, with a history dating back to the 15th century. Owned by Champagne Louis Roederer since 1995, it embodies the perfect balance of historical heritage and modern expertise.

The vineyard covers about 42 hectares, planted on clay-gravel soils typical of Saint-Estèphe, which give the wines power and depth. Plantings are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Viticulture is conducted with a sustainable and parcel-by-parcel approach, highlighting the unique identity of each terroir. Manual harvesting ensures strict grape selection, while winemaking is precise and focused on expressing the richness and elegance typical of Saint-Estèphe. Ageing in French oak barrels, carefully balanced, adds structure and complexity.

Château de Pez wines are admired for their aromatic intensity, firm yet refined tannins, and remarkable ageing potential. They display notes of dark fruit, pepper and spice, carried by refreshing minerality.

Celebrated for their authenticity and consistency, Château de Pez wines stand among the finest expressions of Saint-Estèphe.
