Located in Ampuis, at the heart of the Côte-Rôtie appellation, Domaine Garon is a family estate with winegrowing roots dating back to the 17th century. Revived in the 1980s by Jean-François and Carmen Garon, it is now run by their sons, Fabien and Sébastien, the seventh generation of winemakers.

The vineyard spans about 8 hectares, mainly in Côte-Rôtie, with steep granite- and schist-based slopes. Syrah dominates here, sometimes blended with a touch of Viognier, producing wines of remarkable intensity and elegance.

The domaine’s philosophy is rooted in sustainable viticulture, respecting soil balance and biodiversity. In the cellar, winemaking is precise and restrained, highlighting fruit purity and fine tannin texture. Oak ageing, used with finesse, adds complexity without overwhelming terroir expression.

Domaine Garon wines are admired for their balance of power and elegance. They reveal aromas of dark fruits, spices and violets, supported by silky textures and impressive length. Some single-vineyard cuvées particularly showcase the diversity and richness of Côte-Rôtie terroirs.

Praised by critics and cherished by enthusiasts, Domaine Garon wines embody the authenticity and nobility of Syrah from the Northern Rhône.
