From the cooler high-altitude slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the 2018 Gigondas Tradition from Domaine La Bouïssière is a balanced and characterful wine. This sunny vintage offers a generous, rounded expression of the appellation, with dense fruit and beautifully integrated tannins. The natural freshness from altitude brings finesse and lift.
Blend
Approx. 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre – hand-harvested, aged 18 months in concrete tanks and large oak foudres.
Tasting notes
• Appearance: Deep, bright garnet.
• Nose: Black cherry, blackberry, garrigue herbs, pepper, hint of cocoa.
• Palate: Round and velvety, melted tannins, deep mid-palate, long and flavorful finish of sweet spice and dark fruit.
