Description
The “Muletiers” cuvée comes from the domaine’s oldest vines, planted on the steep granite hillsides of Serrières in the heart of Saint-Joseph. The 2022 vintage, warm and sunny, allowed for perfect ripeness while retaining freshness. This wine stands out for its depth, aromatic power, and fine-grained tannins. A high-altitude Syrah of elegance and strength.
Blend
100% Syrah – hand-harvested, long maceration, aged 18 months in oak barrels (with some new oak).
Tasting notes
• Appearance: Deep red with violet hues.
• Nose: Ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, black pepper, violet, smoky touch.
• Palate: Concentrated and polished, firm yet silky tannins, vibrant freshness, long saline finish with dark fruit and spice notes.
Aging potential
Drink from 2025, with aging potential through 2038.
